Company Profile


In 1928 George “Pop” Grimm of Toms River, New Jersey started Grimm Brooder Company. In 1961, Mr. Grimm moved his business to Rogers, Arkansas. The Hoyt Corporation, in Rogers, bought the business in 1963 and subsequently sold Sibley Engineering along with the brooder business to a group of private investors in 1977. 1992 brought new ownership for Sibley by a former VP of Hudson Foods, Gary Anderson. Mr. Anderson sold the company in 1998 to the current owner of the business, CTB, Inc, based in Milford, IN.

In December, 2000, CTB Inc. sold the Livestock, Water Rack and Pond Master sections of Sibley Industries, Inc.  to R. G. Applegate of Neosho, Missouri. 

In 2001, CTB created a new division called Agile Manufacturing to produce the Sibley line of products along with other well known name brands. This division is located in Anderson, MO.
